Chase the Line


To promote the new PEUGEOT 308GTi by Peugeot Sport, DPDK was tasked to create an interactive digital experience on the back of the international TVC. The result is a spectacular race experience where users can steer from left to right, within the real footage, to ride the perfect line.


Introduce the 308GTi and claim it's place in the (upper)sport domain by showcasing the power, technology and sportsmanship behind the car, confirming the quality of Peugeot as a yound, dynamic and sportive car brand. Create a digital experience building upon previous made TVC.


The online experience starts with a section of the TVC, before transforming into an introductory film inviting users to get behind the wheel of the PEUGEOT 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport. At this point users are challenged to ride the perfect line on the circuit. They can do this on their desktop or via their smartphone. Users can also use their smartphone as a joystick when they take part on their desktop.

In Chase the Line, the user switches between 15 camera standpoints instantly, even on mobile using the phone's gyroscope. To find out where the perfect line lies, you can get in with a pro driver and drive a lap in VR.

Controlling a film like this has never been done before. It is a fully animated video experience that blends film, gaming & technology, putting you in the driver's seat.
